Welcome to the tutorials section of Sims 2 Artists. Here you will find various tutorials mostly written by me gayle_afcb. The tutorials are all written with the beginner in mind so if you already do recolours for example then I anticipate that my tutorials would be way too easy for you. I will provide support for my tutorials where I can. There will no doubt be times when I just do not know the answer to a query but if I can help then I will.
I started out by writing 3 tutorials for re-colouring a few months ago having spent the prior month or 2 answering the same questions over and over via pm/email to different people and in the end figured it was easier to write a tutorial which covered all of those basic questions and provide support for any additional queries.
When I started meshing I was asked to write some basic meshing tutorials in a similar style to the re-colouring ones. I have started a series of meshing tutorials and more will be added as I gain more knowledge.
I will however point out that I am not an expert. I do not know all the answers but I have been lucky with some wonderful more experienced creators helping me out when I first started and figure it now my turn to pass on what I have learned.
All of the tutorials are not only available to read in full on the website but you will also be able to download a copy of them either in pdf format or word format. The copy in word format was made using office 97.
